Hazel’s Challah + Tzedakah
The Jewish concept of tzedakah dictates the responsibility to give generously and care for others. It’s less like the concept of charity and more like the concept of justice.
One out of every ten dollars of Hazel’s Challah sales goes to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. A dollar to the food bank provides five meals to southern Arizona families. The Community Food Bank also sources directly with local farmers, supporting a sustainable food system in southern Arizona.
Hazel’s Challah is a Tucson, Arizona based home bakery that specializes in challah and other Jewish treats.
We started baking and selling challah so that we could feed our souls, our friends, and our community.
