Our story
Hazel’s Challah is named after my daughter. She and I have been baking together since she was a toddler, and slowly we’ve evolved into a small business that provides challah to our friends and neighbors for Shabbat. You don’t have to be Jewish to appreciate challah for its delicious taste and beautiful braid, though. Challah is for everyone.
When we started to sell our bread, we decided to share a portion of our profits with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. In an effort to feed more than just our customers, we give 10% of our sales to the food bank to fight poverty and support sustainable food systems.
